The Reading-North Reading Chamber of Commerce is governed by a Board of Directors who set the strategic direction for the Chamber and work with members, public officials and community leaders to enhance the economic vibrancy of the area.

Mike Kirmes is the General Manager at Doyon’s Kitchen and Appliance. He has worked at Doyon’s for 16 years and specializes in kitchen design. He has also volunteered at the Reading Tree lighting for the past decade to help make this annual tradition a success.
Mike is the 2024 Chamber President
Kate Mahoney works at Royal Air Systems, Inc. She is a member of the management team of the family run Heating and Air Conditioning Company located in North Reading, MA. She has been a volunteer Youth Group Advisor for the Union Congregational Church for over 20 years, and is a lifelong North Reading resident.
Danny Walbourne is one of Reading Cooperative Bank’s Vice Presidents of Community Banking & Development Officers. He came to Reading Cooperative Bank with several years of branch banking experience, and was most recently the Manager at the bank’s Reading location on Haven St. In 2017, Danny was promoted to Assistant Vice President, and in November of 2022, was promoted to Vice President . He enjoys assisting his customers and is truly committed to helping them achieve their goals. Danny takes pride giving back to the community and is currently a board member for both the Council of Social Concern (current Treasurer) and the Rotary Club of Woburn (past president).
Danny is the 2024 Chamber Treasurer.
Jacyln Lee is the owner of the Reading based travel agency, Must Eats Travel, which specializes in culinary and special needs travel. She is also a Project Management Consultant and an active board member of the Reading Special Education Parent Advisory Council (SEPAC). Prior to becoming a travel advisor, she was a senior Information Technology and Software Development Project Manager for over 25 years. During the pandemic she also stepped in as a substitute special needs paraeducator at Reading Public Schools to fill in staffing shortages. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling the world with her family and practicing Japanese Tea Ceremony.
Born and raised in Medford, MA, Laura entered the insurance world at the young age of 16. Being the daughter of Emilio and Lina, both immigrants from Italy, she quickly learned hard work and helping others was the only option.
30 years later and counting, Laura has seen a lot of ups and downs of the insurance industry and understands the climate as it changes and aligns her agency accordingly. She has immersed herself and sacrificed a lot of time over her career to ensure her agency is streamlined, educated on new regulations, and offering top-rated carriers and customer service.
Her vision is clear. Exceptional customer service, valuable & affordable products, and knowledge are imperative.
Laura is loyal to her employees, her clients, and the carriers she represents as she believes relationships, integrity, and loyalty are everything.
Residing in Medford with her two beautiful children Ella, Vincent, and sweet fur baby Rocky, her family is everything. Her favorite pastimes are spending time with her loved ones and friends who are family enjoying life. Her favorite pastimes are cooking, entertaining, traveling, and golfing!

Mike Truesdale is Leasing Director at Cummings Properties in their Woburn office. In his role, Mike works collaboratively with business principals and real estate brokers to understand and accommodate their commercial space needs within Cummings’ expansive portfolio. Mike lives in North Reading with his family and is active in coaching youth football and lacrosse.
As the Executive Director of the Chamber of Commerce, Rob’s role is to serve as an advocate for business owners and to provide a bridge between town government and community. Prior to joining the Chamber, Rob was Executive Director of the Bedford Chamber of Commerce. He holds a Business Management degree and Psychology Health minor from Plymouth State College. In the early years of his career, he was an account executive in the software industry serving Fortune 1000 companies.
Jamie Bradley is the Marketing Manager for the Chamber. He’s the one responsible for communicating about promotions through our email newsletter and social media posts.
As a former business owner and past Member of the Chamber, Jamie understands the challenges faced by small business owners and entrepreneurs. Faced with the option to retire and take it easy, he prefers to spend time helping put on our events and helping owners promote their business.
Jamie and his wife Maeve, a retired North Reading elementary school teacher, first moved to North Reading in 1984 and later to Reading. They raised their three sons here and volunteered for a variety of education, sports and community organizations. In 2020, they realized their dream of living near the ocean when they moved to Beverly. They now enjoy being just a two minutes from the beach.
