The Reading-North Reading Chamber is a not-for-profit, member-supported organization focused on promoting the local businesses and communities of Reading and North Reading, Massachusetts. Our mission is to foster a thriving business environment that builds collaborations between businesses, creates connections between businesses and residents, and contributes to long term economic growth and a strong community spirit.
About the Chamber:
The Chamber has been a driver in the economic life of our community since its founding by local Reading businesses in 1989. On January 1, 2000, North Reading Business Association merged with the Reading Chamber of Commerce to form the Reading-North Reading Chamber of Commerce, creating a stronger voice in the development of both towns on issues concerning the business community.
The Chamber’s goal is to be an advocate and resource for local businesses, a community partner focused on business development, and an advocate for supporting and promoting buying locally.

The Board of Directors of the Reading-North Reading Chamber of Commerce is comprised of local business representatives like you who volunteer their time working for the benefit of the business community. Board members serve three-year terms. Working closely with the Chamber Executive Director, the Chamber offers members educational opportunities that help to enhance business development.
Most importantly, the Chamber is strongly committed to supporting and promoting buying locally. This allows our businesses to thrive. The success of these Chamber initiatives make it possible for us to proudly fund Reading and North Reading traditions such as the Annual Tree Lighting Celebrations.
