The Reading-North Reading Chamber of Commerce is governed by a Board of Directors who set the strategic direction for the Chamber and work with members, public officials and community leaders to enhance the economic vibrancy of the area.

Mike Kirmes*

Mike Kirmes is the General Manager at Doyon’s Kitchen and Appliance. He has worked at Doyon’s for 16 years and specializes in kitchen design. He has also volunteered at the Reading Tree lighting for the past decade to help make this annual tradition a success.

Mike is the 2024 Chamber President

Danny Walbourne*

Danny Walbourne is one of Reading Cooperative Bank’s Vice Presidents of Community Banking & Development Officers. He came to Reading Cooperative Bank with several years of branch banking experience, and was most recently the Manager at the bank’s Reading location on Haven St. In 2017, Danny was promoted to Assistant Vice President, and in November of 2022, was promoted to Vice President . He enjoys assisting his customers and is truly committed to helping them achieve their goals.  Danny takes pride giving back to the community and is currently a board member for both the Council of Social Concern (current Treasurer) and the Rotary Club of Woburn (past president).

Danny is the 2024 Chamber Treasurer.

Catherine Barton Rossetti

As a Trusts and Estates attorney, Catherine works with clients of all income levels in estate planning, probate and trust administration. She takes great pride in furnishing individualized service to her clients and works closely with accountants, financial planners and insurance advisors in structuring individualized estate plans.  Catherine counsels clients on minimizing estate tax liability, avoiding probate court, preparing for illness or disability, and transitioning assets at end of life, including attention to business succession planning. Catherine has lived and practiced in Reading for over 30 years. 

Catherine is the Chamber Past President (2023).

Rob Miner

Rob Miner

As the Executive Director of the Chamber of Commerce, Rob’s role is to serve as an advocate for business owners and to provide a bridge between town government and community. Prior to joining the Chamber, Rob was Executive Director of the Bedford Chamber of Commerce. He holds a Business Management degree and Psychology Health minor from Plymouth State College. In the early years of his career, he was an account executive in the software industry serving Fortune 1000 companies.

Julie Blackley

Julie Blackley is the Communications Manager for the Reading Municipal Light Department (RMLD). One of her favorite parts of her job is representing RMLD and meeting residents at community events. Prior to joining the RMLD team in 2022, Julie worked in public relations for an automotive research firm. Julie resides in Wakefield (just over the Reading border!) with her husband and three daughters and loves to frequent the many shops that downtown Reading has to offer.

Sheila Clarke

Owner of M&H Interiors, a residential and commercial interior design firm, Sheila has collaborated with a variety of clients, including being featured on HGTV’s House Hunters Renovations, The Burbank YMCA, and Meadow Brook Golf Club. As a long-term resident of Reading, she has served as Chair of the Economic Development Committee, and currently serves as a Board member for the Reading Rotary Club.

Kate Mahoney

Kate Mahoney works at Royal Air Systems, Inc. She is a member of the management team of the family run Heating and Air Conditioning Company located in North Reading, MA. She has been a volunteer Youth Group Advisor for the Union Congregational Church for over 20 years, and is a lifelong North Reading resident.

Michelle McNall

Michelle McNall is a lifelong Wakefield resident that enjoys being an active member of the Wakefield community and surrounding communities. Michelle works as the Business Development Manager for ABC Home Healthcare, a local, privately-owned home care agency headquartered in Wakefield, MA with satellite offices in Gloucester and Lawrence. ABC offers a vast array of home care services- from companionship, homemaking, personal care, medication management and more- throughout Metro Boston, North Shore, Merrimack Valley and Cape Ann and the organization is proud to deliver exceptional care to many Reading and North Reading residents- helping to keep seniors living safely and independently in their homes as well as keeping these seniors involved in their communities. In addition to her role at ABC Home Healthcare, Michelle is also proud to be a Realtor with Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Commonwealth Real Estate (Winchester). “Home” is at the heart of everything Michelle does- whether it is being able to help folks age in place or help folks find their new home. Michelle has been an active member of the Reading/North Reading Chamber of Commerce for a number of years and has been a huge supporter of the organization and all of its endeavors. She is excited to bring her energy, enthusiasm and overall skill set to the Board.

Kirk McCormick

Kirk J. McCormick is a shareholder at Ruberto, Israel & Weiner, Chair of the firm’s Construction Law Group, and a member of the Litigation Department. His experience in trials, arbitrations, and mediations includes representation of general contractors, subcontractors, sureties, owners, architects, and engineers throughout the United States on public and private construction projects.

Kirk also has extensive experience with government contracts, litigating and counseling clients concerning complex business and regulatory matters, including real estate disputes, import and export regulations, condominium law, risk avoidance, and other general commercial matters.

Amy Walsh

Amy has been with The Savings Bank since 2004 and holds the position of Floating Branch Manager. She helps customers achieve their financial goals. Amy is a volunteer for the American Cancer Society’s Relay For Life. She is on the 2019 planning committee as well as team captain for the TSB Lifesavers team. She also serves on several committees at the Emmanuel Episcopal Church in Wakefield. Amy resides in North Reading.
